Flights to and from Sayak Airport (IAO) in Del Carmen are available via:

  • Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) – Philippine Airlines
• Cebu – Mactan International Airport (CEB)
• Davao – Francisco Bangoy International Airport (DVO)

From Sayak Airport, you can take one of the service vans or taxis available at Arrivals and ask the driver to take you to Santa Monica (or its former name, Sapao) up north — in between Barangay Alegria and Barangay Garcia, to HilNer’s Beach Resort.

By Ferry
2GO Travel now offers a new direct ferry service from Manila to Siargao, providing a more affordable travel option. The weekly trip departs from Manila on Mondays and takes approximately 28 hours, arriving in Siargao the following day.

You can also fly into domestic airports in Surigao City (SUG) or Butuan City (BXU) and travel by ferry to Siargao via Surigao City.
